Nuit blanche 2018

An artistic and popular event organised by the City of Brussels Nuit Blanche (All-Nighter) chose to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of May 1968 this year. It is a night to gather together, share unusual, contemporary creativity in a welcoming and festive ambiance, conducive to discovery and surprise. The company, The Airport Society, wanted to take over the Chapelle to present its event, Unknown, I live with you, a powerful evocation of the living conditions of women in Taliban Afghanistan, inspired by their writings, where any story or form of musical expression is considered a crime punishable by the death penalty. In response to a call for opera and engaged art, singers, dancers, quartets, and live electronic music have come together to celebrate the courage of resistance and universal freedom.
