Within the framework of Brussels, dance !

! CANCELLED! Due to a case of Covid within the show team, we are forced to cancel the show on Thursday 17, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 March at 8.30pm. This show will be replaced by the company's previous show, IDA don't cry me love. If you have already booked your tickets, the box office will contact you in the next few hours.

Lara Barsacq finds inspiration in the Ballets Russes of the early 20th century, a rich source of inspiration that pays tribute to the women forgotten by history. After the solo Lost in Ballets Russes and the trio IDA don't cry me love about Ida Rubinstein, Lara Barsacq brings back to life the choreographer Bronislava Nijinska and her ballet Les Noces, composed by Igor Stravinsky, in Fruit Tree.

Using the art of diversion and poetic digressions, she evokes femininity, rites of passage and the freedom of dancing bodies against a backdrop of contemporary ecofeminism. Echoing the preparations of the grieving bride in the story, Fruit Tree mixes dance, song and storytelling, playing with a paradoxical harmony of joy and melancholy.
