Within the framework of Brussels, dance !

The Golem, chosen for its symbolism of the doppelganger, is a soulless and mute clay creature, shaped in the image of its creator to defend the latter. Seen as a projection that one creates to understand oneself and the other, the Golem of choreographer Julien Carlier and sculptor Mike Sprogis proposes a fusion of their artistic styles. Between the two men, there is clay, the organic source of an intense physical engagement, the earth becoming man and man matter. The dialogue between these two artists of different disciplines and ages kneads the poetry of passing time and reminiscences. An echo of the irrepressible human desire to animate the inert and to reveal what’s buried. A tribute to man’s ability to receive in his womb the unexpected of a creative force.
