Les Brigittines

Continuing their research into the notions of anomaly or creative error already at work in their previous creation (Glitch, 2019), Florencia Demestri and Samuel Lefeuvre extend it to the friction between the organic and the artificial, the human and the non-human, the living and the non-living. Inspired by Anna Tsing's Le champignon de la fin du monde, they immerse us in a landscape of unpredictable and multiple time zones, where humanoid and animal silhouettes, fleeting and uncertain images, disturb our perception. In these disordered times, they remind us of our troubled lives, torn between great slowdowns and sudden emergencies.
