Concert
Established in 1997, the Trio Mediaeval showcases three highly talented singers performing medieval English, Italian and French monophonic and polyphonic music, contemporary works and traditional songs or ballads from Norway, Sweden and Iceland. Scheduled to be performed at BOZAR, their latest recording comprises a splendid array of works drawing upon their favourite repertoires. Inspired by the God of the North Wind referred to in Roman mythology, Aquilonis whisks you away on a journey from North to South, to explore an extensive heritage of songs ranging from 12th century Italian compositions to works by contemporary composers, such as Anders Jormin and Andrew Smith.
