The fifth In Movement Festival offers nine evenings of three shows each night. Since its creation in 2012, the Festival has had the goal of bringing together and comparing works by artists working in Brussels, with the challenge of attesting to their extremely lively engagement in the contemporary universe.
This year especially, as we will see, societal questions run through the creative flow. An anxiety in the face of the dangers of a technological take-over, of a future marked by natural catastrophe and consciousness, and of a hyperactive world in which lies and brutality reign sovereign.
While they attest to this malaise, the choreographers offer nothing less than original forms in which transposition works on new representations of ourselves, and on ways of being and moving that shift perspectives and engage us in the perceptible and the shared imagination...
