10eur sur place le soir même

A timeless encounter around Jean-Luc Fafchamps and Christophe Guiraud’s pieces for the alto, piano and electronic instruments interpreted by Stephane Ginsburgh and Vincent Royer and where the two composers play with acoustic instruments by merging them with their electronic counterparts.

Jean-Luc Fafchamps blends “pop” electronic and alto violin in Street Music, designed to be played in the open air. In the meditative Beth/Veth, he combines the piano, percussions and “gentle” electronics that seemingly emerge from the heart of the instrument. In his new piece, Apicale solo, Christophe Guiraud pursues the path of Ars subtilior and adds to the piano voices, ghostly resonances, samples and loops directly produced in the instrument.
