After the successful church concerts that AB organised last year in the Church of Our Lady of Laeken and the Church of Saint John the Baptist at the Béguinage in the heart of Brussels, AB heads to a house of worship all over again: The Brigittines Chapel.
Mount Eerie is the moniker under which Phil Elv(e)rum has been putting out enduring albums for years now, on his very own label P.W. Elverum & Sun. His latest and 9th epos A Crow Looked At Me is the heartbreaking process of dealing with the premature death of his wife/illustrator/musician Geneviève Castrée.
Ironically enough it is to be cherished in the same way as lamenting gems like ‘One More Time With Feeling’ (Nick Cave), ‘Benji’ (Sun Kill Moon) and ‘Carrie & Lowell’ (Sufjan Stevens).
