With­in the frame­work of Brus­sels, dance !

On a stage covered with a soft black fabric, Erika Zueneli shows a body on the alert and experiencing multiple desires and tensions. Instability and fragility inhabit a vibrant being, resolutely subjected to headwinds, which is having to almost permanently re-invent itself. There are barely a few moments of pause or suspension in this odyssey filled with images and furtive impressions.

Si vis pacem, para bellum, "If you want peace, prepare for war". Based on this idea of preparation for battle, the choreographer delivers a solo with troubled energies, a kaleidoscopic reflection of a tenacity that is both vain and indispensable, in which a thousand figures of the warrior woman - that she (is) not - appear…
