Concert
Jos van Immerseel invites you to a Schubertiade in the company of musician friends: an intimate evening dedicated to the interpretation of lieder and other lyrical works by Franz Schubert. Invited by Thomas E. Bauer to replace him during this concert, the young German baritone Matthias Winckhler is an excellent choice to interpret works by the Austrian composer as testified by the fact that he was a laureate at the 2013 Franz Schubert LiedDuo Competition in Dortmund. By performing Letter & Schaukel by the Korean composer Isang Yun, the soprano Yeree Suh proves that the musical spirit surpasses boundaries of time and style. On the pianoforte, the duo Immerseel-Chevallier is responsible for shrouding these sublime voices and using them to suggest the poetic universe of the works. A journey that is a blend of text and song, images and feelings.
