Les Brigittines

Pierre Droulers takes inspiration from the painting of Balthus to propose twenty-two tableaux like so many portraits of the same model, from one woman to another. With great care for the precision of lines and poses, the choreographer and his performer introduce us to a surprising adventure of the body: its slownesses, its supports, its revitalisations.

Here, Pierre Droulers reasserts his long-term commitment through transmission: after Tijen Lawton upon creation in 1996, then Katrien Vandergooten in 2011, it is now up to Malika Djardi to take the relay in this re-creation.
