Singing profusely, laughing polyphonically, dancing blindly, chattering away: the four women figures in Muyte Maker seem to have escaped from a world of imaginative fantasy and sweet folly where medieval imagination, trivial songs and grotesque tableaux all intermingle.

The concurrently mythological figures and one-day sprites have disconcerting and contradictory voices that haunt our inner dialogues when we allow our humour to roam and run into the incongruous.

Using the many different registers of voice and gesture, Flora Detraz has found a formula wherein the irrational is nurtured at the source of smiles and jubilation in a genuinely inventive and mischievous performance.
