Meeting the artists after the show on 29/08

Where does the identity of a dancer emerge from within a quartet of identical figures? Through which micro-shifts or serious contortions? How does every dancer react to this, while respecting the urge to write a shared choreographic language, all executed in academic tights?

There is no answer without a healthy dose of irony! Through mirrored figures, sudden unisons, pauses on bodies captured in incongruous or unbearably referential poses. And then, there are examples that should not be followed but which are accepted and attempts to influence that turn against themselves.

Meritxell Barbera and Inma Garcia, a duo of choreographers who are highly committed to the artistic life of the city of Valencia, which endlessly shimmers with azure under the Mediterranean sky, demonstrate a perfect combination of freedom of tone and lightness of mood.
