Meeting with the artist after the show on 25.11

In partnership with Le manège — scène nationale — Reims

A music and choreographic performance from Alban Richard with Erwan Keravec and Audrey Chen
centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie

Breathisdancing responds to the order/question: what would be an “augmented recital”? The proposition emphasizes the breadth as trigger of sounds, movements, affects and emotions.

Three bodies-blowers-instrumentalists meet and work from a schedule of musical, temporal and body constraints defined by Alban Richard, with the sole objective of endlessly generating sound and movement. Generating means producing something, having it as an ineluctable consequence, engendering, being at the source.

The attention paid to this sound sculpture by the three interpreters instantly defines the possibilities of movement.

Together, they accumulate their productions to create a spectral massive music and imaginary landscape. This constantly morphing magma of textures, qualities and rhythms forces spectators to build new markers or to get lost in hybrid sound cartography.
